Watermelon is an obvious part of the summer for my family. When we have a barbeque, we are always eating watermelon. Need a game in the water? We grease up a watermelon and play watermelon football! There are tons of fun things you can do with watermelon and luckily, it’s everywhere!!! I’ve heard a few different tricks to finding the perfect watermelon like looking for bee sting holes on it because then you know it’s sweet, but it usually turns into a big guessing game for us. (Let me know if you have any tricks.) Fortunately for us, we’ve rarely landed with a bad watermelon and if we do, there are a lot more things to do with it than eat!
This month we have a great Family Challenge for you! It’s time to have some summer fun!
The Challenge: Watermelon!
Eat it, play a game with it, create something with it, or do a craft about it. Whatever you do, have some fun with your family, take a picture, if possible, and share what you did with us!
